About This School
Our School
Our Fort Worth martial arts school extends beyond the normal martial arts instruction. We are fully invested in helping build kids into disciplined young adults and providing a place for adults to have fun and reduce stress. Our Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu classes are fast-paced with a fun vibe accompanied by music. Having an upbeat atmosphere is just one part of what makes our experience great for everyone. We want to inspire students to improve and enjoy life on and off the mat. This includes encouraging children to keep their grades up with routine updates and to try other sports. A lot of our training goes hand-in-hand with team sports. Don’t stop trying new things! Our goal at Champion GTMA Martial Arts is to use training to change lives for the better!
History
Since our opening in 2006, we have been fully invested in the Fort Worth martial arts community. Senior Master Viggers opened our doors after training for 20 years. Starting as a young kid in martial arts, he learned the value of discipline, respect, honor, and leadership. Senior Master Viggers has won multiple world titles but has found his true passion in teaching students—from world champions to full families. In fact, he was inspired by families to open his own school.
After following through on his students’ wishes to become a school owner, Senior Master Viggers has led Champion GTMA to improve the curriculum, teaching methods, and continuously upgrade the facility. As time continues, the school will serve as a place for people to gain confidence, build relationships, and experience all the great things about martial arts!

We take pride in delivering the highest-quality training experience possible. Along with top-level instruction, our positive and energetic culture makes every day fun and motivating. No matter your age or experience, anyone can walk in the door, grow, and truly enjoy the journey.
Our after-school program is designed to give kids the perfect balance after a long day at school. Students enjoy a fun and active environment, a healthy snack, dedicated homework time, and daily martial arts training in taekwondo and/or Jiu-Jitsu. It’s a place where kids build confidence, friendships, and positive habits—all while staying active and having fun.
Our exclusive GShim Taekwondo Black Belt classes at Champion Martial Arts take place every day, giving dedicated students the opportunity to sharpen their skills, push their limits, and continue growing. Train alongside like-minded martial artists in a motivating environment that builds skill, confidence, and camaraderie.
Taekwondo weapons training is one of the signature experiences at Champion Martial Arts. Students train year-round in nunchuck, sword, bo staff, and kama, developing precision, control, and focus while mastering exciting traditional martial arts skills.
